The Thoreau Club outdoor venue hosts events from April-October and is proudly one of the few venues in Massachusetts that can offer complete privacy to your group of up to 2,000 attendees. 

 

Their 35 Acre Outdoor Venue Includes:

  • 2 swimming pools

  • A large tented seating area

  • Basketball court

  • Volleyball court

  • Wooded walking trails

  • 10,000 square foot field

  • Lawn games and sports equipment 

  • Ropes course and/or zipline (Added to package by request)

Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, MA is an elegant full-service event venue that specializes in wedding receptions and other social occasions requiring personalized service.

Located 16 miles west of Boston, the club is uniquely situated on the tranquil Sudbury River. Its newly renovated English Tudor clubhouse overlooks a meticulously maintained 18-hole golf course. Two stone fireplaces add warmth and charm to the main dining room and lounge. A lovely deck, often used for cocktails and photographs, overlooks the first and fifth green.
